Time series analysis is ubiquitous in many fields of science including gravitational-wave astronomy, where strain time are analyzed to infer the nature sources, e.g., black holes and neutron stars. It common transient studies apply a tapered window function reduce effects spectral artifacts from sharp edges data segments.
